Assynt & Coigach
The Assynt and Coigach region of Northwest Scotland is a landscape photographers and hillwalkers paradise. It’s home to a very unique landscape. I find it reminiscent of a chess board, were the pieces occupy their own square on a board, the mountains of Assynt and Coigach occupy their own space away from each other with nothing but vast moorland and lochs to seperate them. Iconic mountains of Assynt and Coigach include Suilven, Stac Pollaidh, Quinag Cul Mor and Sgurr an Fhidhleir, each with their own unique character and appeal and each offering a significantly different view of this stunning landscape.
You’ll never look at landscape photography the same way again once you’ve photographed the other-worldly mountains of Assynt and Coigach.
